First of, congrats to EVERYONE who ran Sunday including the people with the PBs and BQs.  It was a great day and the crowds were supportive.

I don't like to mix politics and running, given that many of my running friends may share different political views than me, but check this one out: candidate for mayor Rob Ford would stop marathons running on city streets.  He thinks we should use parks and admits he didn't even know about the marathon on Sunday.  See the link to article above.  Compare that to the current mayor who ran the 1/2 and declared last week Marathon week in Toronto.

Just something to think about at the ballot box.
