At the end of the day a woman still had to run the race - she didn't get in a car, she actually ran, left right repeat.  

I think this is a stupid!  At NYC the elite women start well before the men and at no point do the men catch up to the women. 

With this ruling, not only is Paula's record changed but so will Grete Waitz's NYC World Record's.  And that's a real shame.

I can't speak for other women, but personally I think it's ludicrous.

World Record / World Best.....explain the difference.

And changing history? What's that all about?

It's 2011. Not 1811. Women and Men are equal. Get over it.
