Running Routes

Leslie Spit - variable distance.


  • Start at Running Room.
  • Take Queen to Eastern
  • Follow Eastern all the way to Leslie.
  • Take Leslie south to the bottom and enter into Martin Goodman trail. Follow the main road all the way to the end.
  • Be bold, when you get to the rnd, run up the hill to the lighthouse!
Distance Notes:
For  approximately 13.5k, turn around just before the foot-bridge.
For 16km, turn around about 300 metres past where the east road meets back up with the main road. 
 For a total of  17.5 run to the top of the lighthouse hill.
All routes return back from whence you came.
For 20k - go all the way to the Lighthouse and then on the way home, head up Kingston rd, all the way east to Main St (Southwood), return to Running Room via Southwood-Williamson-Wineva then Queen.
For 19k, do not go all the way to the lighthouse but do Follow the Kingston Rd to Main St and back to Running Room.
Options are also to take the gravel path to the east of the main road, weather permitting.
